Robert Leach

Robert Edward Leach, 76, passed away July 16, 2012. Robert was born December 20, 1935 in Randolph, Kansas to Marvin and Maude Peterson Leach. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and was stationed in Washington D.C.; where he met his future bride, Betty Shaw. He worked as a service technician for T.R.W. and was a retired jet engine mechanic for TWA/American Airlines. His passion was to collect and restore antique cars. Robert was a wonderful and devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Betty Leach; 3 children, Terri Moody (David), Tom Leach (Beverly) and Suzie Gambino (Rick); 1 sister, Shirley Elskamp; 5 grandchildren, Nikki, Jessi, James, Kelsey and Mitch; 1 great granddaughter, Sophi; 4 step-grandchildren, Autumn, Stacy, Alexis and Ryan and 2 step-great grandchildren, Evan and Brad.Funeral service is 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 20 at Mount Moriah Terrace Park; visitation is from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, July 19 at the funeral home.
