Robert Davis

Robert T. Davis, 72, of Smithville, MO passed away at his home on Saturday, March 31, 2018.  He was born in Kansas City, MO to the late Robert M. and Lillian (Morrow) Davis.

After high school Robert joined the U.S. Navy serving during Vietnam. After working several jobs he followed in his father’s footsteps working at KCATA and retiring after 34 years of service, during this time he met the love of his life, DeeDeeLee.  When he was not working he enjoyed fishing, working on the farm and spending time with his family.

Robert was the loving husband of 32 years to DeeDeeLee Davis, Dad of Cindy (Tom) Wirtz, Kevin (Venecia West) Peoples, Jack (Kelly Galloway) Peoples cherished  grandfather of Aniston, Eden, Logan, Ashlynn, and Jack, best friend of Stanley Iams,  he was a dear brother, uncle, cousin and friend.

In addition to his parents Robert is preceded in death by his sister Joie Jacques.

A memorial visitation will be Saturday, April 7, from 5-6 PM at Terrace Park Funeral Home, 801 NW 108th St. (169 Hwy & Shoal Creek) Kansas City, MO. A Celebration of Life Service with Military Honors will begin at 6 PM Saturday at the Funeral Home.
