Robert B. Calder 94, a lifelong Northland resident passed away November 30, 2015. Memorial services will be 10:30 am Friday December 4th at Terrace Park Cemetery Lakeside Chapel (169 Hwy & Shoal Creek), with visitation preceding services 9:30 – 10:30 am. Inurnment in Terrace Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Wounded Warrior Project.
Robert was born in Liberty, Mo. on January 31, 1931. He was a Navy veteran of World War II, and later employed by Farmland Industries for over 35 years prior to his retirement. He loved traveling and gardening. He was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Thelma Calder, 4 brothers, Quincy, Dallas, Howard, Lucian, and his parents, Thomas and Lillie (Anderson) Calder. Survivors include his daughter’s Linda (Harold) Pearson, Joy Payne, 4 grandchildren, Renae and Craig Powers, Ryan and Trent Pearson, 7 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
