Robert R. Brockman, born on October 19, 1945, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away on December 19, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, and devotion. Robert graduated from Bishop Kelley High school, and then went on to attend Oklahoma State University. 

He dedicated many years of his life to the IT department at Hilti, where he made significant contributions and formed lasting friendships.

Above all, Robert cherished the time spent with his family, especially his beloved grandchildren. Each year, he eagerly anticipated hosting a Labor Day pool party, a cherished tradition that brought together family and friends to celebrate life's simple joys. His enthusiasm for these gatherings illuminated his deep love for family and community.

Robert married Judy Scruggs in January of 1990, she truly was the love of his life. Together they explored the world, traveling Europe, Asia, and many other breathtaking destinations. Their adventures were a testament to their shared passion for life and one another, reflecting a partnership built on mutual respect and unwavering support.

Robert’s interests extended beyond travel. He was a true enthusiast of historical topics and displayed an eagerness to learn that never waned. His love for politics spurred engaging discussions where he enjoyed sharing his insights and perspectives. He was an avid reader and also had a love for football.

Throughout his life, Robert's dedication to learning and connection with others defined him. He will be remembered not only for his professional achievements but also for the warmth and joy he brought to those around him. His departure leaves a profound void, but the memories he created and the love he shared will continue to resonate in the hearts of all who knew him.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Ellwood and Gerry Brockman; son, Aaron Brockman; and his granddaughter, Haley Scruggs.

He is survived by his loving wife, Judy Brockman; son, Jon (Monica) Brockman; step-son, Terry (Christa) Scruggs; brother, Ellwood (Linda) Brockman; grandchildren, Ryder, Dillon, Dune, Natasha, Dakota, Drew, Allison, Dylan, and Cooper. As well as many other family members and friends.

Robert will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. A memorial in honor of his life will be planned at a later date.
