Robert Blazer

Robert J. T. Blazer, 82, of Weatherby Lake, MO passed away December 27, 2010. Funeral services are 2:00 pm Monday January 3 at Mount Moriah Terrace Park Funeral Home, with visitation 1:00 - 2:00 pm. Burial in Mount Moriah Terrace Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to Crossroads Hospice or New Mark Care Center. Robert was born February 8, 1928 in Kansas City, KS. He was employed as a master woodworker, high school teacher, then a state and federal employee. In his love for God, he was a BYF leader, and a mentor to many. He loved people, and was a natural leader who attracted many friends. He loved to host gatherings, and welcomed many with great generosity, sincerity and loyal friendship. He will be missed by all who knew him. Survivors include his wife, Peggy Blazer, daughter, Avis Lash (Brian), 2 grandchildren, Alex, Claire, and niece, Gail Porter.
