Richard Wright

Richard D. Wright, 89, of Kansas City, MO passed away on Tuesday, March 20, 2018. He was born in St. Joseph, MO on November 21, 1928.

Richard proudly served in the U.S. Army during the occupation and Korean Conflict. He was the Plant Manager at Spangler Printing, retiring in 1988. He was a dedicated volunteer for the Kansas City Community Blood Center and the SPEAC Food Pantry in Parkville.

He is survived by his wife Helen, children James (Jean) McGee, Barbara (Richard) Dalton, Steve (Karol) Hawkins and Jeffrey Hawkins; grandchildren Heather Hawkins-Clark and Ami Hawkins

Richard is preceded in death by his first wife Violet, Sister Eleanor Stokes and Brother Roy Wright.

A Memorial Service will be Monday, March 26, 2018 at 1:30 PM at Parkhill Christian Church 6601 NW 72nd St, Kansas City, MO 64151. A short gathering will follow the service. Private burial will be in Terrace Park Cemetery.
