Richard L. Welsh, 64, of Independence, MO passed away March 26, 2016. Funeral services are 2:00 pm Wednesday March 30th at Terrace Park Funeral Home, 169 Hwy & Shoal Creek Parkway, with visitation preceding services 1:00 – 2:00 pm. Burial in Leavenworth National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Disabled American Veterans.
Richard was a Navy veteran of the US Navy. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Robert and Daniel Welsh, and his father, Harlan Lee Welsh. Survivors include his daughter, Marianne Weaver, son, Rich Welsh, mother, Myrtle Welsh, sisters, Patsy Cunningham, Connie Carpenter, nieces, nephews and numerous friends.
