Reba Windle

Reba E. Windle, 84 of Smithville, died on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at St. Luke’s Hospice house in Kansas City. She was born January 3, 1932 in Nogo, Arkansas to the late David Arthur Walker and Eldottie Renfroe Walker.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and sister who enjoyed family gatherings at their home. She was proud of her CNA certification and worked at area nursing homes.

Reba is survived by her husband Virgil Lee Windle, of the home; daughters Gail (Bill) Keene of Missouri City, TX; Myrna (Jerry) Hubbard of Centerton, AR; Vicky (Keith) Donaldson of Parkville, MO; Velda Stapleton of Smithville, MO; Doris (Dwight) Ballard of Dearborn, MO; Nancy (Bob) Lemley of Smithville, MO; Pam (John) Ollison of Excelsior Springs, MO; Rebecca (Chris) Gee of Kansas City, MO; sons: Darrell Windle of Gladstone, MO; Willis (Jullee) Windle of Kansas City, MO; Jeff (Lola) Windle of Gladstone, MO; siblings Connie, Shirley, and Onnie also surviving is her daughter-in-law Terri Windle of Edgerton, MO; 23 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and lifelong friend Nedinne Eddings.

She is preceded in death by her siblings Glenna, Dorothy, Bonnie, Mary and Doyle; her son Melvin Windle and son-in-law Russell Stapleton.

Visitation will be Tuesday, July 5, 2016 from 10-11 AM at Terrace Park Funeral Home, 801 NW 108th St. (169 Hwy & Shoal Creek) Kansas City, MO. Funeral service will be Tuesday at 11 AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Terrace Park Cemetery.
