Raymond V. Hughes, 75 of Kansas City died at his home on Wednesday, October 22, 2014. He was born in Kansas City, to the late Virgil and Ruth (Radtke) Hughes on March 3, 1939.
Ray was a lab manager in quality control for Ralston Purina, now Cargil. He liked bringing joy to other people’s lives through his little jokes and antics. He was a member of Park Hill Christian Church.
He is the Loving husband of 56 years to Charlene Hughes; dear father of Gerald (Celine) Hughes and Jill (Tim) Weyrauch. Cherished grandfather of Tiffany Hall, Trent (Hayley Wylde) Hall and Cole Hughes and Great-grandfather of Conley Ray Hall. Beloved brother of Joan Hughes and Barbara Brown.
Rev. Robert Fugarina will officiate a memorial service at 11 AM on Friday, November 7, 2014 at Park Hill Christian Church, 6601 NW 72nd Street, Kansas City, MO 64151. The family suggests memorial contributions to Three Rivers Hospice P.O. Box 1937 Platte City, MO 64079 or Park Hill Christian Church. Arrangements by TERRACE PARK FUNERAL HOME AND CEMETERY.
