Ray Alan Marcille, 57, of Kansas City, MO passed away on January 9, 2022.
Ray, or better known to his friends and family as Alan, was born on June 10, 1964 in Kansas City to Marvin and Maria Marcille. He married his high school sweetheart, Tammy Howery, on December 23, 1980 and from this marriage they had three children. Alan spent many years working for the City of Kansas City. After retiring, he cherished the time spent with family, especially his grandchildren. He attended their sporting events and even coached baseball. He loved watching football, and of course, cheered for the Chiefs anytime they played. Alan was a talented cook and his family enjoyed when he would bake his holiday desserts. It seemed there was nothing that he couldn’t fix and he was always willing to help anyone in need.
Alan is preceded in death by his parents and son, Ray “Little Alan” Marcille II. He will live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind including his wife of 41 years, Tammy; children, Brian Kenneth Marcille, Christopher Marcille and his wife Alicia Marcille; grandchildren, Brian Marcille II, Olivia, Xavior, Christopher “CJ” Marcille II, Aniya, and Ava; brothers, Marvin “Butch”, Martin “Marty”, and Marvin “Kenny”; sisters, Mary Lou Lyman, Pamela Miller, Paula Duren, and Erika Groves; and many extended family and friends.
