Paula Kastilahn

Paula L. Kastilahn , 84, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, October 3, 2018.  She was born in Lincoln, Kansas on  July 19, 1934, to the late Paul and Vada (Howe) Ryan.

She was a fierce protector of her family, and was a tremendous role model for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She retired from Mobilfone where she was the general manager. She attended Kansas University, was a faithful KU, Royals and Chiefs fan.

Paula was the loving mother of Karl and Greg (Jan) Wiley, dear grandmother of Sarah (Trevor Bash) Kennedy, Laura (Mitch) McGuire, Rebecca Van Tol, Bret (Emily) Wiley and Braden Wiley. Cherished great-grandmother “MoMo” of Olivia, Gavin, Jillian, Brady, Alexis, Nolan, Henry and the yet to be born Baby Boy Bash. Dear sister of Steve McReynolds, Peggy McCullick and the Late Patsy Myers.

Visitation will be Saturday, October 6, 2018 from 1 PM until the time of service at 2 PM at Terrace Park Funeral Home; 801 NW 108th St. (169 Hwy & Shoal Creek) Kansas City, MO. Interment will follow at Terrace Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Children’s Mercy Snowflake Shop in care of Children’s Mercy Hospital Department of Philanthropy, 2401 Gillham Rd. Kansas City, Missouri 64108.
