He married the love of his life Sharon K. Marchbanks, on December 6, 1958. For 57 wonderful years they raised their family of which he was so very proud.
Children are Cary (Frank) Winfree, Cindy Goddard. Grandchildren; Andrea (Westen) Detrick, Katy (Jared) Lungren, Jared Goddard, Corey Goddard. Two Great Granddaughters, Gemma Detrick and Nellie Lungren.
Paul was an Air Force veteran. After his military service he starting working for the Federal Aviation Administration where he retired after 37 years.
Paul and Sharon both shared a passion and love of Gospel Music which over the years has touched so many people. Paul was a member of many quartets and trios and his joy when singing shone through in every performance. Even through his illness he continued to sing and touch people until just a short six months ago.
Paul and Sharon shared what many people hope to find which is a true love and friendship that endures through a lifetime. Even during the tough times they were able to walk down the path together and bask in the sun and ride out the storms. If you ask Cindy and Cary they would not be able to remember a time when they didn't show respect and caring for each other and their family.
Their love endures through eternity and one day they will be reunited in the kingdom of heaven singing with the angel's choir. We will miss Paul deeply but be joyful that we know he is with Jesus and his loved ones in heaven.
