Paul R. Leafgren, 84, of Lawrence, Ks. passed away January 5, 2016. Graveside services will be 10:00 am Friday January 22nd at Leavenworth National Cemetery, 150 Muncie Road, Leavenworth, Ks.
As a security officer, Paul retired from the United States Air Force. He later continued his career in security with Eastman Kodak in Colorado. Paul loved sports, especially the Denver Broncos. As a pitcher, he played fast pitch softball all over the world as well as coached basketball with several championship wins. His enthusiasm for ball sports dribbled over to golf and as a cracker-jack pool player.
Paul is survived by his wife, Clara Lee, children, Mark Leafgren, Roy Leafgren, and Suzanne Gordy, one brother, Don Leafgren, step-children, Melanie Loyd, Bonnie Ausman, Nicki Crow, Brian Warner and numerous grandchildren. Online condolences may be left at TerraceParkFuneral.com.
