Patsy Jean Jones, 82, of Belton, MO was born February 3rd, 1932 and went to be with her late husband, Jack W. Jones, on March 2nd, 2014. Grandma Patsy lost Grandpa Jack in 1983. She always had twinkles in her eyes when speaking of Grandpa Jack. Patsy was preceded in death by her father, Carlos Thatch; her mother, Jeanette Clayton; and sister, Jerry Sue Carter. She is survived by her sons, Richard Jones and wife, Doris, and James Jones and wife, Becky; granddaughters, Jennifer Jean O'Neill and husband, Ryan, and Shirley Jean Jones (Lozano); and 7 great grandchildren, Rafael Lozano IV, Alexander Lozano, Ryan O'Neill, Jr., Paili O'Neill, Richard O'Neill and twins, Valerie and Frank O'Neill, which were born on Grandma Patsy's birthday, February 3rd. She never missed a chance to brag about that. Patsy retired in 1997 from Millbank Manufacturing. She enjoyed her work and took great pride in it. She was a two time cancer survivor and always beat the odds courageously and without complaint. She had fought a long and hard battle this past month and a half and passed away peacefully with family by her side. Patsy leaves behind many dear friends in her neighborhood that she enjoyed playing cards and dominos with. Patsy was extremely proud of her grandkids, even though only 9 total, you might have thought she had 19. She belonged to a close knit family, one that the will forever remember her walk, her talk, her facial expressions and the way she answered the phone. She had a great sense of humor and an amazing laugh. Patsy took one last vacation with her two sons last year and created amazing memories… Priceless. Patsy will have private services and burial at Mount Moriah Terrace Park Funeral Home and Cemetery on Friday, March 7th, 2014.
