Patsy Arnold

Patsy "Pat" Sue Arnold, 73, of Smithville, Missouri passed away on June 4, 2021.

Pat was born on March 18, 1948 in Smithville to James and Virginia Adamson. When she was 20 years old, Pat met Robert “Bob” Arnold who had just returned from his time in the Navy. This was a match made in heaven and the two were married only seven months later. From this marriage they were blessed with two sons. Pat worked for the FBI, retiring after 23 years of service. In her spare time, she could often be found tending to her flower garden or on vacation with her feet in the sand. She was a fantastic cook and was especially celebrated for her homemade mac and cheese and apple pizzas – which she made from the fresh apples she picked in Weston once a year.

Pat is preceded in death by her parents, James & Virginia Adamson.  She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by her loving husband of 50 ½ years, Bob, of Smithville; sons, Jeff (Amber) Arnold of Jefferson City and Jason Arnold of Kansas City;  sister, Sherri (John) Huhs of Smithville; grandchildren, Hannah (Travis) Andres, Willow Arnold, Meadow Arnold, Brett Arnold, Alli Arnold, and two great grandchildren, Rae Shriver & Ren Andres.

To celebrate Pat's life, a private funeral service will be held at Terrace Park Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation or to the ALS Association – Mid America Chapter.
