Patricia Williams

Patricia Ann McPherson Williams passed away at home on November 5, 2021, with her husband Clyde by her side.

Born October 29,1932 to Marian (Moyer) and Marvin McPherson on a farm south of Gardner, KS, Pat attended the 1-room Rock School before graduating from Spring Hill High School. She then attended University of Kansas.

Patricia met Clyde at the Grange Hall near Spring Hill, KS. Clyde and Patricia married February 6,1953, then traveled the west coast during Clyde’s enlistment in the Navy. They then settled in Gladstone, MO.  Pat worked various jobs, notably Sentinel Federal Savings & Loan, before starting her own upholstery business. Upon retirement, Pat and Clyde enjoyed traveling around the country.

Patricia enjoyed sewing, needlework, and baking, and belonged to many groups including Missouri Extension, Beta Sigma Phi, 4-H Club, Quilt Club, Gladstone Garden Club and Northland Bingo Ladies.

Patricia is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Clyde; her two daughters, Debby Dean and Diane (Jeff) Reinhard; as well as six grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother Gene.

Services will be held at Terrace Park Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 10, 2021, with visitation from 1:00pm to 2:00pm, followed by the funeral and graveside services. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Gashland United Methodist Church.
