Patricia Evelyn Mynatt

Patricia E. Mynatt, 86, of Liberty, Missouri passed away on September 13, 2024. Patricia was born on July 8, 1938 in Kansas City, Missouri. She was the sixth child of thirteen born to John and Joyce Donnelly. After graduating from Bishop Hogan High School, she soon married the love of her life, Edgar Mynatt, in 1958. From this marriage they were blessed with two daughters. Pat worked much of her life doing what she loved, which was caring for children. Though a petite lady, Pat was a force of good in the lives of those who knew her. She was especially known for her love of family (and the Chiefs), gardening and canning, and her homemade fried chicken and pies.

Pat is preceded in death by her parents; siblings, John Donnelly, Shirley Corder, Denny Donnelly, Jamas Donnelly, Kathyrn Davis, and Jerry Donnelly; and her husband, Edgar Mynatt; and beloved pup, Poncho.

She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by her daughters, Patricia (James) Happy and Linda Stroud; grandchildren, Jamie Lynn Happy, Clayton Stroud, and Nolan Stroud; siblings, Frances Croll, Cleo Unterreiner, Mary Jo (John) Pepperdine, Nancy Enquist, Thomas Donnelly, and Brenda (Dave) Farrell.

Services will be held at Terrace Park Funeral Home & Cemetery on Tuesday, September 17th, with visitation beginning at 1:00pm, followed by the funeral service at 2:00pm, and burial. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s and Dementia Association or to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
