Patricia Justis

Patricia Justis, 76, passed away October 29, 2019. She was born April 2, 1943 in Higginsville, MO.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints for many years. Patricia served in the Army from 1962-1964 and was married to Franklin Lee Justis from 1962-1972. She never remarried because she was so focused on her two children, Ellie and Lee Justis. She worked most of her life for the Federal Government and after she retired she spent most of her time reading.

Patricia is preceded in death by her father, Walter Pitzer Sr; mother, Kathryn Pitzer Barker; brother, Walter Pitzer Jr; and sister, Imogene Grindel.

She is survived by her two children, Ellie Justis and Lee Justis, Lee's sons, Douglas Lee and Cody Nithanel Justis; brother, Jack Pitzer and his children, Tisha, Leyton and their children.

A visitation will be held from 10-11 AM, service 11 AM, on Saturday, November 2, at Southside Baptist Church, 350 NE Amory Rd, Smithville, MO 64089.

The family requests no flowers and that memorial contributions be made to Southside Baptist Church, 350 NE Amory Rd, Smithville, MO 64089.
