Patricia Hildebrand

Patricia “Pat” Ann Hildebrand, 87, of Grandview MO, passed away at her home on May 06, 2022. She was the first child born to the late John W. and Gladys (Duke) Carter on March 17, 1935 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She grew up in Tulsa and graduated from Webster high school in 1954. She met Lester “Les” Hildebrand in Tulsa, and became married on July 01, 1955. They latter moved to Kansas City, where she raised their two children, Tonya Ann, and Jon Michael.

During retirement years Pat had also lived in Florida and Arkansas.

Pat was a lady of great passions. Passions for Life, family and friends. She loved life and she loved the people in her life. With her smile she never met a stranger.

She got to full fill her dreams of seeing the world both USA and International. She has traveled to France, Germany, Egypt, Belgium, Spain, Ireland, Denmark, Sweden, and Russia. Traveling by motor home, plane, train, and car has seen all 50 states.

Pat had a fun time sewing and doing crafts, working in her yard, decorating her home, volunteer work, and Shopping!

She was preceded in death by her husband: Lester; her brother John William Carter Jr. and her parents.

She is survived by her children: Tonya (Mark) Overmyer; and Jon Hildebrand; two grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.

Pat was devoted wife, mother, and friend. She lived her life in Christ. She will be missed and loved by many but she lives on in the laughter of her son, and the dreams of her daughter.

The family wishes to thank the Research Medical and Therapy Department for all of their care and support during Patricia’s recovery so she could return to her home.
