Patricia Gilbertson

Patricia Ann Gilbertson, 57, of Sunrise Beach, MO formerly of Kansas City, MO passed away peacefully October 12, 2014 after a long battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband of 30 years, John; brother, Palmer Proffitt of Pocatello, Idaho; 5 children, Amanda Riddle and husband, Jeremy, Rachel Perez, Jason Gilbertson and wife, Andrea, Renee Smith and husband, Dan, Rebecca McDonald and husband Terry, and her beloved grandchildren, Kaylea, Tony, Janae, Madison, Celeste, Christian, Maria, Phillip, Clayton, Gunnar and Grant. She is preceded in death by her parents and two siblings. Patty thoroughly enjoyed life. She loved bird watching, motorcycle riding and fishing. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and friend.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Kansas City Hospice House & Palliative Care at 9221 Ward Parkway, Suite 100, Kansas City, MO 64114.  Her funeral service will be 2pm, Wednesday, October 15th with visitation one hour prior at Terrace Park Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow services.
