Olin Burdette Schmickle "5 timer", 84, of Kansas City, MO passed away August 9, 2011. Memorial services are 4:00 pm Saturday August 13th at Mount Moriah Terrace Park Funeral Home, 169 Hwy & 108th St, Kansas City, MO, with visitation 3:00 - 4:00 pm. Cremation inurnment will be private. Following services an Elks memorial gathering and reception will be at the Elks Lodge, 7010 N. Cherry, Gladstone, MO. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to NorthCare Hospice House, 2900 Clay Edwards Dr, North Kansas City, MO 64116. Olin was born in Iowa City, Iowa on June 29, 1927. He graduated from Toddville High School in 1945 and was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a former Teamster. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Martha Auman Schmickle. Survivors include his wife, Judi Schmickle, of the home, sister, Bethel Sylvester (Larry), of Marion, IA, daughters, Debbie Gibson, Marsha Fitzgerald (John), Sandy Fee (Joel), of Denver, CO, son, Chris Allison (Sarah), of Chesterfield, MO, 8 grandchildren, sister in law, Martha Ginnings, of Independence, MO, and brother in law, Jim Cooley (Susan), of Raytown, MO.
