OLLIE LOUISE (SCHOTT) FOSTER
Louise Foster, 96, passed away June 5, 2017 at John Knox Care Center in Lee’s Summit, MO. Visitation will be held Saturday, June 10, 2017 from 9-10 AM at Terrace Park Funeral Chapel; 801 NW 108th St. (169 Hwy & Shoal Creek) KCMO. Graveside services will begin at 10 AM in Terrace Park Cemetery.
Louise was born October 22, 1920 in Calhoun, MO to the late Paul Henry and Myrtle Ellen (Hopkins) Schott. She was a graduate of CMSU of elementary education and taught for 39 years. During this time she taught in many places including 3 years in a rural school in Pettis County, 3 years in Windsor Public Schools, 3 years in Blue Springs and 30 years in the North Kansas City School district where she taught Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grades. Louise was a member of the Retired Teachers Association-State, National and Local as well as a member of the Missouri State Teachers Association.
In addition to her parents, Louise is preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Ray Foster and brothers, Charles and Elbert Schott.
Survivors include her brother, Gerald Schott and wife Norma Jean; nieces, Regina Krause, Renita Higgins, Connie Schott and nephews, Ed, Gary and Daryl Schott. Share online condolences at TerraceParkFuneral.com.
