Normal Piepergerdes

Normal Lou Piepergerdes, 75, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away February 10, 2018. Normal was born January 24, 1943 to Harold and Virginia (Scott) McGregor in Denver, Colorado. As a child the family traveled with her father, because of his job with the railroad. She finished school in Richmond, MO. On December 29, 1998 she married Blair Piepergerdes in Estes Park, CO. The two enjoyed traveling and spending the winters in Pensacola, Fl. Normal worked for 23 years at the KCI Airport as an airport police officer, and retired from there in 2001. In her free time she enjoyed shopping, collecting jewelry, and spending time with her cats; Molly and Tucker.

She is preceded in death by both parents, her sister Mary Anne Franklin.

Normal is survived by her husband of 19 years, her son Ron (Kimberly) Lichte of Blue Springs, MO and her daughter Kimberly Lichte of Oak Grove, MO, brothers; Duncan (Peggy) McGregor of Orrick, MO and Harold (Charlotte) McGregor of Lee’s Summit, MO, five grandchildren; Jordan Lichte, Megan Schwartze, Skylar Lichte, Heather Elliott, and Sydnie Armstrong, also surviving are five great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Tuesday, February 20, 2018 from 10:00 to 11:30 AM with a Celebration of Life Service immediately following at 11:30 AM at Terrace Park Funeral Home; 801 NW 108th St. (169 Hwy & Shoal Creek) Kansas City, MO.
