Norma Jean Trachsel, 79, of Liberty, MO, passed away Friday, June 2, 2017 at Ashton Court Care and Rehab Center. Norma was born, December 2, 1937 to Henry and Claudine (Miller) Fletchall in Empire Prairie, MO. She graduated from King City High School in 1955. Norma married her husband Dale Trachsel on March 2, 1958 in Helena, MO. She attended Platt-Gard College for 2 years. Dale worked for TWA and the two loved to travel around the world.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 44 years, her daughter Willa Jean Phillips, and a brother who died in infancy.
She is survived by numerous cousins, and Brother-in-law Fredrick Trachsel.
The family would like to thank the staff of North Kansas City Hospice, Aston Court Care Center, and members of the Avondale United Methodist Church for their compassion and care.
Memorial Service will be Saturday, June 17 , 2017 at 10:30 AM at the Terrace Park Lakeside Chapel; 801 NW 108th St. (169 Hwy & Shoal Creek) Kansas City, MO. Interment to follow in Terrace Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family requests that memorial contributions go to Avondale United Methodist Church.
