Norma I. Clements, 82 of Kansas City, MO passed away at Garden Valley Nursing and Rehab on Saturday, August 1, 2015. She was born in Greenville, Tennessee on July 30, 1933 to the late Mitchell Chandley and Nola Lawing Chandley.
She was a wonderful wife and homemaker who had a talent for baking Coconut Cream pie, Red Velvet Cake and other sweet treats. She spent a lot of time helping in various ways at Metro Baptist Church.
Norma was the loving wife of Samuel J. Clements, dear mother of Sam K. (Lola) Clements and Karla (Robert) Norton cherished grandmother of Charlene Clements, William Clements and Julia Norton. Beloved sister of Mary Morgan, Janice McDaniel, Patricia Burke. She is a dear Aunt and friend to many.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by 2 brothers and 1 sister.
Visitation will be Wednesday, August 5, 2015 from 10 AM until time of service at 11 AM at Metro Baptist church 3400 NE 80th St. in Kansas City, with Pastors Jonathan Cresswell and Terry Wilkes officiating. Interment will follow at Terrace Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association Heart of America Chapter 3846 W 75th St, Prairie Village, KS 66208.
