Nora Kostandova

Nora Artemovna Kostandova, 86, passed away on March 18, 2021.

Nora was born on February 17, 1935 in Baku, USSR to Artem and Arusyak Kostandova. She grew up in Baku, where she attended college and received her degree in nursing. Nora proudly served as a registered nurse for 45 years. She moved to the United States in 1994 as an Armenian refugee. Always known for her directness and candor, Nora spent her free time reading and cooking wonderful meals for her loved ones – most notably her rice pilaf and baklava. Nora was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Aram Gazanchiyants, her two sisters, and brother. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by her children: Inna Swayne and Vadim Gazanchiyants; grandchildren: Christopher, Frances, Ivan, Lukyan; and her sister Sofia.

A visitation will be held at Terrace Park Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 24th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Funeral services will be held at Sullivan's and Duggan's Serra Funeral Services in San Francisco, CA, with burial following at Serbian Cemetery.
