At Nolah's request, a Celebration of Life will be 2:30 p.m. Friday, July 1, at Terrace Park Glassed Cemetery Interment Chapel, 169 Hwy. at Shoal Creek Parkway. Visitation will precede the Celebration 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Burial in Terrace Park Cemetery. Nolah was born Aug. 5, 1919, in Brunswick, Mo., to Eugene and Bettie (Cazzell) Stapp. She married Edward M. Wesely, the love of her life, on April 4, 1943; they were inseparable for 66 beautiful years until his death on Sept. 4, 2009. Survivors include many loving cousins and dear friends. Nolah graduated from Brunswick High School and Chillicothe Business College, where she was a member of Omega Chi Sorority, before moving to Kansas City in 1939. She retired from the Federal Aviation Agency in 1972 after 25 years of service. Nolah enjoyed golfing, feeding and watching the birds, accompanying her husband to his musical performances, and enjoying the deer in her yard. Because of her great love of animals, in lieu of flowers, Nolah requests memorial donations to Wayside Waifs, 3901 Martha Truman Road, Kansas City, MO 64137, or to your favorite animal welfare group. Nolah's loved ones wish to commend the staff of Interim HealthCare of KC, especially Laura, Sue, and Sammy, for their care, compassion and devotion during her short illness.
