Nina Lorene Holman was born in Brunswick, Missouri on June 27, 1925 to Genie and Bill Munson.
She is survived by daughter, Beverly A. Bailey of Kidder, MO and adopted daughter, Kay Marie Case of Cameron, MO; four grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; 30 great-great grandchildren; and two sisters, Doris Davis-Mansfield from Raytown, MO and Elizabeth Dodson from Richmond, MO.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Holman; mother, Genie Turner; father, Bill Munson; Step-father, Jess Turner; and two brothers, Billy and Roy Munson.
Nina worked in the garment industry for 43 years, taking a job at an alteration shop and then retiring when she was 65. She was forever generous with her love, her home, and her money. She was always willing to help others. She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church and lived in her home for 65 years in Gladstone, MO.
When she could no longer live alone, she moved to Kidder, MO to live with her daughter until she passed at the age of 96 on October 11, 2021.
Nina’s life will be celebrated at Terrace Park Funeral Home & Cemetery on Friday, October 15th, with a visitation beginning at 1:00pm, followed by the funeral service at 2:00pm and burial.
