Nevada Jane Firuccia

Nevada Jane Firuccia, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on December 13, 2023. She was a highschool graduate who lived a life filled with creativity and cherished moments with her family.

Born on January 14, 1934, Nevada had an adventurous spirit that fueled her passions and interests. One of her favorite hobbies was creating porcelain dolls, meticulously crafting each one with love and attention to detail. In addition to doll making, Nevada had a talent for painting. Nevada also had a knack for sewing and would spend hours creating beautiful clothing for her daughter. 

Travel was another passion that Nevada shared with her husband. After retiring, they embarked on numerous adventures together, exploring different parts of the world. One place they particularly enjoyed visiting was Sante Fe in New Mexico. 

Nevada cherished every moment spent with her family and created lasting memories along the way. As a wife, mother, and grandmother, she provided unwavering support, guidance, and unconditional love. Her nurturing nature was evident in the warmth she exuded whenever she interacted with her loved ones.

Nevada Jane Firuccia leaves behind a legacy of love, creativity, and cherished memories. She will be remembered for her kind heart, artistic talents, and unwavering devotion to her family. Though her physical presence may no longer be with us, her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of all those whose lives she touched.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert and Martha Burton; her siblings: Elva (Bertie) Blevins, Lytle (Ellen) Burton, Kenneth Burton, Katherine (Bob) Love, Betty (Glen) Talley, Zack Burton, and Ross (Linda) Burton; as well as her daughter in law: Brenda Firuccia.

Nevada leaves behind her loving husband: Joseph Firuccia; daughter: Charlotte (Bob) Uptegrove, and son: Steve Firuccia; brother: Gilbert (Linda) Burton; sister: Mary (Dennis) Martin; sister in law: Lorene Burton; 8 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and 4 great great grandchildren.
