Mina Gossage

Mina Ruth Gossage, daughter of the late Lawrence & Bertha (Graham) McFadin, was born on September 18, 1928 and departed this life on July 20, 2019. At the time of her passing she was 90 years of age.

Mina Ruth was born in Conway, Missouri where she graduated from Conway High School in 1946. After high school graduation she attended college at Southwest Missouri Teachers College and later graduated from the University of Missouri with her Master’s Degree. While attending college she was united in marriage to Lloyd Gossage on August 22, 1952 and to this union one child was born, Teresa Lea Berrey. She was a 3rd grade teacher at Gashland Elementary for twenty-six years with her teaching career totaling thirty-six years. She loved to read, travel and cherished time spent with family and friends. She was an active member of Northmoor United Methodist Church for many years.

She was preceded in passing by her loving husband of forty-six years, Lloyd Gossage; her daughter, Teresa Lea Berrey; her parents; and seven siblings. Mina Ruth is survived by her two granddaughters, Katie Berrey and Kara Berrey. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, friends and other family members who will all truly miss her.
