Michael William Manor

Michael "Mike" William Manor, 67, of Platte City, MO died Tuesday, June 7th at St. Luke's South Hospital in Overland Park, Kansas.  He was born May 18th, 1944 in Jefferson, Iowa the son of John and Pauline Manor.  He served as an Airman First Class in the Air Force.  On September 20th, 1969, he married Margaret "Marge" E. Lawler in Eldora, Iowa.  Family members include his children Cheryl Ferraro, Amie Fleury, Michael E. Manor, three brothers, and three grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents.Mr. Manor worked for AT&T and Southwestern Bell for 31 years and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers.  He was also a member of the VFW Post #4055 based in Platte City, MO.Funeral services will be held June 12th at 2:00pm at Holy Family Catholic Church in Kansas City, MO.    Visitation hours are from 6:30-8:00 pm Saturday June 11th at Mount Moriah Terrace Park Funeral Home in Kansas City, MO.  Arrangements under the direction of Mount Moriah Terrace Park Funeral Home; 801 N.W. 108thSt; Kansas City, MO.
