Michael White

Michael Gene White, 66 of Independence, Mo passed away
October 15th, 2018. Michael is the son of Roy & Naomi (Midgett)
White. Michael was born on September 2nd, 1952 in Poplar Bluff,
Missouri.
Michael later moved to Independence, Missouri around 1969 where
he attended Truman High School. Shortly after graduation he joined the
United States Air Force where he proudly served for 10 years. Michael
was married on May 21, 1972 to Mary Mizer.
Michael worked for Southwestern Bell, AT&T, & CommWorld Phone
companies as a phoneman for over 47 years and later took a position at
Loomis, picking up currency. He retired fully in 2015. Michael loved to
hunt, fish and watch his favorite football team the Kansas City Chiefs.
He loved seeing and spending time with his family and friends.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his
wife, Mary White; two children, Michael White Jr. and Michelle
Baugher; one sister, Kathy Rice; one brother, Robert White; seven
grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind a host
of several friends and family who will all truly miss him.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, October 19th, 2018 at
10:30 a.m. at Terrace Park Funeral Home. Visitation will take place
prior to the service from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Interment will take place at
