Michael Glenn Eslinger passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 31st, 2017 in Kansas City, MO at the age of 65. A lifelong resident of Kansas City, he was born on August 17th, 1951 and graduated from Westport High School.
Michael was a special man – a jack of all trades and a master of quite a few. His hobbies & interests were many; from collecting coins, attending concerts or car racing – there was always a good time or a great conversation to be had in his company. Michael’s family and friends were his greatest treasure and one that he kept close to his heart; whether through a hearty laugh, a winning hand on Poker night, or a genuine smile and helping hand for friends & family alike on moving day.
Taken far too soon from all who loved him, Michael was a loving husband, father, son, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend to those blessed enough to have had him in their lives.
Michael is survived by his wife Lisa, children; Amber & Mark Porter-Schumann, Kyle & Sarah Eslinger, Joy Eslinger, and Jason & Angela Eslinger, Angela & Braden LeMaster and his nine grandchildren; Aaron, Tanner, Trey, Julian, Taya, Tryston, Katlyn, Gavin and Annabella. His mother Carlene Gillespie, his five sisters; Sharon & Steve Miller, Gail Fisher, Peggy & David Smiley, Rhonda & Joe Osborn, Jenny & Dan King, Mother-in-Law Clara Smith, Linda Ozar, Lyla & Joe Harris, Lloyd & Karie Smith. Numerous aunts & uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and countless numbers of friends.
