Maxine Mae Willis, 94, passed away, Wednesday, September 13, 2017. Maxine was born March 1, 1923, to Rufus and Rosa (Filk) Koser in Worthington, Minnesota. Maxine married Otis L. Willis on September 30, 1943, in Kansas City.
Maxine is preceded in death by both parents and her husband of 59 years.
She is survived by two sons; Larry (Mary Beth) Willis, of Liberty, MO, and Ron (Debbie) Willis, of Liberty, MO, granddaughters Trisha (Sean) Ranes, Tara (Mike) Brendle, great-granddaughters Dina and Holly Ranes, and great-grandsons Garrett and Tyler Brendle, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Saturday, September 16, 2017 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at Terrace Park Funeral Home; 801 NW 108th St. (169 Hwy & Shoal Creek) Kansas City, MO. Private burial to follow in Terrace Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family requests that memorial contributions go to NorthCare Hospice or Our Lady of Mercy Country Home.
