Mateo Anthony Rideout

September 5, 2024 — November 5, 2024

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Mateo Anthony Rideout, who left us far too soon on November 5, 2024. Born on September 5, 2024, to loving parents Adrian Horton and Mariah Rideout, Mateo’s brief life was filled with joy and love. Though young, he made a big impact in the lives of those who love him. He had a special place in his heart for dinosaurs and was captivated by the sound of country music, especially the voice of Luke Combs. His home was filled with laughter, most often brought on by his own little sneezes and hiccups. Mateo was known for his strong voice, and his doctors lovingly remarked that he had a "healthy set of lungs." Even in his short time with us, Mateo had much to say, and he made sure he was heard.

Mateo is preceded by his great-great grandmothers, Donna Mowrey and Sabina Elicondo; and uncles, Chace Freeman, Max Hardy, and Achilles Hardy. He will forever be cherished by his parents, Adrian Horton and Mariah Rideout; grandparents, Elizabeth "Glamma" Kennison, Jason "Grump" Rideout, Stevie "Grandpa" Cortez, and India " Grandma" Jennings; aunts, Jordyn Arabelle, Lyric, Grace, and Sophia Rideout, and Shyanne, Ravyn Jennings and Theo Miller; uncle, Issaac Rideout; and many extended family and friends.

Services will be held at Terrace Park Funeral Home - Lakeside Chapel no Monday, November 25, 2024, with visitation from 10-11am, followed by the memorial service at 11am.
