Mary Thomas, 52, passed away August 31, 2011, with her mother and husband by her side. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that she touched in some small way throughout her short, yet very memorable life.Mary was born November 12, 1958 in Jerusalem, Israel. Her father was a Pastor. Her mother was a devoted homemaker. Her family moved to Glendale, CA. in 1971. Mary graduated from Glendale High School in 1978. After graduation she moved to Everett, Washington. In 2002 she met and later married her husband, Michael Thomas. Growing up Mary was an active church member and had recently begun attending the Rock Church in Kansas City, MO in 2010. Her interests included family, gardening, computers, road trips, and reading. She is survived by her mother, Lucy Stanboli, her husband, Michael Thomas and his immediate family (David Thomas, David A. Thomas, Emma Thomas, and Vanessa Prather), her sister, Alice Campbell; brother, Richard Stanboli; 2 sons, James Baskaron and Peter Baskaron to include his wife Bridget Baskaron; 3 grandchildren, and special friends, Phyllis Taylor, Iman Sunnaa, and Rupa and Kiran Asher. A memorial service will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 6 at Mt. Moriah Terrace Park with burial at the Leavenworth National VA Cemetery at 12:30.
