Mary Snapp

Mary Anna Snapp, 85, of Kansas City, went to be with her Lord and Savior on October 5, 2018.

Mary was born on April 26, 1933 to Orval and Jenny (Taylor) Holeman. She grew up near King City working at her father's restaurant during her early teenage years. It was during that time that she would meet the love of her life, Billy Snapp. Billy and Mary married on November 18, 1950. Mary was a devoted house wife and mother to nine children. Along with being remembered as a wonderful mother, she will also be remembered for her beautiful singing voice and her love of writing poetry. Mary was a long time member of Sherwood Bible Church and spent her life sharing the story of Jesus Christ with everyone she would meet.

Mary is preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Billy Snapp, and her children, Karen Snapp and Keith Snapp.

She is survived by her children, Kelly Braden, Katie Castagno, Kevin Snapp, Sharron Watson, Maria Badami, Brent Snapp, and Bradley Snapp; 18 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will begin at 10am, with funeral to follow at 10:30am on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at Terrace Park Funeral Home (801 NW 108th St. Kansas City, MO). Burial will be later that day at 2pm at Butler Cemetery (2274 NW Mill Rd, Maysville, MO 64469 - off of Highway H).
