Mary McDonald

Mary Ann McDonald, 72, of Gladstone, Missouri passed away Sunday, December 17, 2017, at North Care Hospice in North Kansas City. Mary was born February 14, 1945 to Carl and Mildred (Cowell) Parker, in Kansas City, Missouri. In December 1982, she met Michael while working at her job at Perkins. The couple got married June 14, 1988. She worked several years at Gladstone Bowl doing several different jobs. In her free time Mary enjoyed crocheting and knitting. She will forever be remembered for being very giving and her big heart.
Mary is preceded in death by both her parents, and her brother Carl Parker Jr.
She is survived by her husband of 29 years, her children; Elizabeth Avery of Wellington, MO, David (Geary Beth) Ruckel of Gladstone, MO, and Mark Ruckel of Excelsior Springs, MO. Her grandchildren; Anthony and Samantha Avery, Christopher Ruckel, Natasha Seaver, Brook Perkins, and Taylor Ruckel and great grandchildren; Jarrett, Amelia, and Alena Jo.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date at Terrace Park Funeral Home; 801 NW 108th St. (169 Hwy & Shoal Creek) Kansas City, MO. Burial to follow in Terrace Park Cemetery.
