Mary Copeland

Mary L. Copeland, 93, of Kansas City, died November 25, 2019.  She was born on October 17, 1926 near Greentop, Missouri, to Tom and Sylvia Lile.  Mary graduated from Greentop High School in 1943 after which she went to Kansas City, Missouri.  She worked for insurance companies and retired from the Jones Store Payroll Department in 1992.   She was a member of Northgate Baptist Church.

Mary was preceded in death by her son, Eslie Gerald “Jerry” Copeland, Jr., in 1996; her parents; three brothers:  Emory, John, and Dale; and five sisters:  Grace, Virginia, Hazel, Lillian, and Freda.  She is survived by her daughter, Carol Holamon; four grandsons:  David Copeland, Nicholas Copeland, Wm. Michael Reavis and Logan Ingold; one granddaughter, Stephanie Stell of Bowie, TX; and great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 11am on Thursday, December 5,  at Terrace Park Cemetery Lakeside Chapel, 801 NW 108th St. (169 Hwy & Shoal Creek) Kansas City, MO. Inurnment will follow at Terrace Park Cemetery.  Share online condolences at TerraceParkFuneralHome.com.
