Mary “Louise” Mick Bullock, 98, was born on September 30, 1925 in Lathrop, Missouri, entered the gates of Heaven on June 12, 2024.
Louise grew up and lived in Lathrop until she graduated high school. She was second in her class and elected Valedictorian before moving to Kansas City where she became and worked as a seamstress. Working at Levi’s Jeans, she mentored and trained those around her. Her career even brought her to Worlds of Fun where she eventually sewed the leggings for cheerleaders on the Kansas City Chiefs.
She was a top of line mother to her children. While her husband was in truck driving, Louise had an open door policy and always welcomed those into her home, taking care of the neighborhood when she needed. Louise was always willing to help others, at church and anywhere else around her.
As a seamstress, Louise made her daughters clothing, wedding dresses, and enjoyed quilting. She loved cooking, making the best chicken and noodles, beef vegetable soup, and most of all, her chocolate pies.
In her later years, Louise found solace in taking her grandchildren to the Penguin Park in the Northland.
Louise was the kind of person that would do anything for anyone else. She will be missed by all of her family.
