Martha “Marti” Heilig, 54, of Gladstone, MO passed away November 27, 2015 at her home with her husband, Joe, of 34 years, 20 days by her side. She was born May 24, 1961 to Walter Lee and Loretta (Hicks) Brooks in Pueblo, Colorado.
Martha is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Loretta Brooks. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 34 years, 20 days, Joe Heilig; daughter, Jolene; grandchildren, Meghan (Donny) Correll, Chris (Maddison) Heilig; great-grandchildren, Noah, Chevelle, Beau, Paeton, Watson, Averie; sisters, Arleen (Jim) Baily, Linda Brooks, nieces and nephews, Leslie (Irwin) Boe, Jeff (Michelle) Bailey; great-nephew, Liam; aunts and uncles, Vernadeen Cutbirth, Phena (Carl) Warren, Reva Hill and numerous cousins.
Visitation will be Friday, December 4, 2015 from 7-8 PM at Terrace Park Funeral Home, 801 NW 108th St. (169 Hwy & Shoal Creek) Kansas City, MO. Funeral service will follow at 8 PM.
