Martha Allen

Martha Allen was born June 28th, 1944 in Fayette, Missouri to the union of Frank and Katherine (Gaines) Enyart. She was a member of the Ebenezer Baptist Church. Martha attended elementary and high school in Armstrong, Missouri graduating high school in 1962. She continued her education at Central Methodist College in Fayette, Missouri, where in 1966 she received a bachelor’s degree in Biology. Martha went on to earn a graduate degree in medical technology from Truman Medical. In 1967, Martha was married to Donald Allen, her husband of 47 years, in Slater, Missouri, and to this union a son, Timothy, was born. Martha was employed as a Medical Tech at both Truman Hospital and St. Mary’s hospital. She retired from Truman Hospital 2004.She passed away peacefully October 21, 2014. Martha was preceded in death by her sister, Charlotte Allen. Survivors include her husband, Donald Allen; son, Timothy Allen (Heather); daughter, Dana Carter(Curtis); mother, Katherine Enyart; brothers, Gene Enyart (Judy), Carl Enyart (Mary Anne), Earl Enyart(Cindy); sister-in-law, Gwen Allen; brother-in-law, James B. Allen (Adrienne);brother-in-law, Rodney Allen; and nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 11am, Friday, October 24th with visitation one hour prior at Terrace Park Funeral Home Chapel.
