Marlene Jeane Brown Hedstrom, 84, of Olathe, KS died on Saturday, November 28, 2015. She was born in Kansas City, Kansas to the late Harley Harrison Brown and Lucinda Sarah Shields Brown on December 17, 1930.
She was a stay at home mom when the children were young, she cooked, cleaned, and always took care of her family. She retired from Farmland Industries in 1987 where she worked as an Administrative Assistant. She loved rock-n-roll music and her family.
She is survived by her sister Clarann Lawson; children; Richard Cameron (Pamela A.) Hedstrom, Christopher Bruce Hedstrom, Cynthia LeAnn (Francis Allan) Foskett and Melissa Jill Thompson, grandchildren: Alexander Cameron Hedstrom, Sarah Jeane Hinton, Charles Alan Hinton, Aaron Christopher Hedstrom, Steven Michael Thompson, Derek Andrew Thompson, Kimberly Frances Foskett, Julia Brooke Thompson, Mitchell Logan Thompson, Christopher David Thompson, Phillip Tracy Allen and Eric Joseph Foskett; great-granddaughters; Chrystian and Cheyenne Allen, Mia R. Hedstrom and Harper Louise Hinton; also surviving are nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In addition to her parents Marlene is preceded in death by her son Timothy Charles Hedstrom.
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 1, 2015 from 6-7 PM at Terrace Park Funeral Home, 801 NW 108th St. (169 Hwy & Shoal Creek) Kansas City, MO.
