Marjorie Hiebert

Marjorie Lois Hiebert, 90, of Kansas City, MO passed away on April 26, 2020. Marjorie was born on July 11, 1929 to Walter and Minnie Johnson in Greensburg, KS. After moving to the Kansas City area she pursued her career as a registered nurse. She worked in a variety of departments while working for North Kansas City hospital and retired after 28 years of service. Marjorie enjoyed quilting, picking flowers, but most important to her was spending time with her family. Marjorie is preceded in death by her husband, Elgin Hiebert, and brothers, Marvin and Willard Johnson. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by her children, Randy (Dani), Calvin, Greg, and Wanda (Robert) Allen; grandchildren, Miriam “Minnie Hiebert, Joseph “JJ” (Kanchana) Hiebert, and Samuel Allen; and sister, Betty Schmidt. A private graveside service will be held at Terrace Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Kansas Mennonite Relief Sale (https://kansas.mccsale.org/).
