Marilyn June (Miller) Willis, 94, of Kansas City, MO passed away peacefully on June 30, 2022. She was born to the late Ernest and Helen Miller on April 27, 1928. She became a loving wife to her husband, Charles Willis and was a homemaker and housewife to her family.
She was a woman of faith and belonged to the McMurry United Methodist Church in Claycomo, Missouri.
Marilyn enjoyed cooking for her family and neighbors and enjoyed reading. Even into her eighties, you could find Marilyn walking three to five miles a day. She had a passion for animals. She owned Chihuahuas and Yorkies.
She had a great joy in spending time with those that she loved. Family was very important to her life. She always asked about her grandchildren and others.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband; as well as her son: Steven Willis; sister: Meredith (Wilmer) Allen; and brother: Douglas Miller.
She is survived by her children: Michael and David Willis; daughter in law: Julie Willis; sister in law: Ruth Miller; grandchildren: Jeremy, Annaliese, Chris, and Stephanie; as well as numerous cousins and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ASPCA.
