Marie Penrod

Marie Elnora (Stover) Penrod, passed away september 28, 2022. Marie was born in the Armourdale district of Kansas City, KS on December 28, 1925 to Charles & Vernie Stover.

Marie loved gardening and bird watching. an active member of Bethel UCC since 1970. She enjoyed singing in the choir and making crafts in the bethel bazaar. She was a volunteer with Northland meals on wheels.

Marie was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Morris M. Penrod. surviving family members are daughters, Marsha Wilson of OPKS and Melinda Teague (Timothy) of KCMO. grandsons, Matthew Herring (Erika) of KCMO and Mark Herring (Renilda) of San Diego, CA. great grand daughter, Molly Herring.

A special thanks to the nurses and staff of KC hospice at North Kansas City Hospital for their compassion and professional care.

Services will be held at Bethel UCC on october 08, 2022.visitation will be from 12-1pm with a service to follow at 1pm., 4900 NE Parvin road, KC MO 64117. burial at terrace park cemetery. donations to Bethel UCC.
