Marian Osborn

Marian Elizabeth Osborn, 94, of Gladstone, Missouri died peacefully at the NorthCare Hospice House on Sunday, February 26, 2017, she was born January 7, 1923 in Loda, Illinois to the late David and Victoria (Erickson) Johnson.
Her family was her life, raising eight children was a fulltime job that she did with love; she also had a great relationship with her church family at Grace Baptist Church; where she was active with the Women’s Circle—spending a lot of time making dolls for Children’s Hospital.
Marian is survived by her children Jim (Bev McDaniel) Osborn, Don (Patricia) Osborn, Dwight (Jo Ann) Osborn, Judy (Ron) Reddell, Gary Osborn, Mark (Ann King) Osborn and Phillip Osborn. 12 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; also surviving are her siblings Eleanor Bogner, Bob Johnson, Elaine Gustafson and Phyllis King; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In addition to her parents Marian is preceded in death by her husband Fred M. Osborn; who died in 2003; daughter Delores Elmore and a brother and sister.
Visitation will be Saturday, March 4, 2017 from 11:30-1 PM at Terrace Park Funeral Home, 801 NW 108th St. (169 Hwy & Shoal Creek) Kansas City, MO. Pastors Jerry Cain and Stephen Jones will officiate the Funeral service on Saturday at 1 PM at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to NorthCare Hospice 2800 Clay Edwards Drive, Kansas City, MO 64116 or Grace Baptist Church 3101 NE Vivion Rd, Kansas City, Missouri 64119.
