Marguerite G. Woods, 86, of Kansas City, MO passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2017. She was born February 19, 1931, in Allegheny, PA to the late Everett E. and Marguerite (Kidd) Carnnahan.
She was a caring person who was always serving others, either her family, or in her position with the State of Kansas where she was a caregiver for many people over the years.
She is survived by her children: Mike (Deborah) Carnnahan, Richard (Janie) Decker, Joe Decker, William Decker, Scott Woods, Cheryl Colberson, Gena Decker and Denise Dostal; 31 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and too many nieces and nephews to mention.
In addition to her parents, Marguerite is preceded in death by her husband Jesse Woods, son Daniel Decker, daughter Wendy Espinoza, grandson Cody Sestrich, 4 brother and 2 sisters.
Visitation will be Thursday, January 4, 2018 from 1 PM until time of service at 2 PM at Terrace Park Funeral Home, 801 NW 108th St. (169 Hwy & Shoal Creek) Kansas City, MO.
