Darlene “Marguerite” Turner passed on and went to her eternal rest on Thursday, November 2nd, 2023. Marguerite was born May 20th, 1953 in Kansas City, Kansas to Ramon and JoAnn Cherrito. She was in the 1971 graduating class of Oak Park High School and attended Maple Woods Community College. Marguerite spent her working years in various financial areas with a focus in title work and real estate, including supporting her family’s business with her parents. After her retirement at 62, she spent her golden years enjoying time with what mattered most. Her grandchildren. Marguerite’s hobbies included fishing, shopping and the occasional night out to the casino with friends and family.
Marguerite is preceded in death by her husband Tony Turner, mother, JoAnn Cherrito; her brothers Rusty St. James, and Frank Cherrito. She is survived by her Daughter, Jamie Cook(Kevin Cook), her granddaughter’s Ashley Bain, Brooke Bain, Alyssa cook, her grandson Jordan Cook, Her father, Ramon St. James, Sister, Ramona Nyberg, Brothers Joe and Carl Cherrito, Sister Linda Caldwell, and many loved nieces and nephews.
Marguerite is loved and cherished by her surviving family and many friends. She will be missed.
A Celebration of life is scheduled as follows:
