Maeve Marie Myhre, beloved daughter of Hillary and Jordan Myhre, was born sleeping on November 10, 2024 at Liberty Hospital. Maeve weighed 6 pounds and was petite like her mommy, measuring 18.5 inches. She had her daddy’s cleft chin, his long toes, and her mommy’s wavy hair and nose. She was perfect and precious in every way.
Maeve lived a life filled with adventure - she climbed mountains in Glacier and Rainier National Parks, visited the beaches of Olympic National Park, and met a moose in Rocky Mountain National Park. Like her parents, Maeve loved music. During the Ocie Elliott concert, Maeve kicked and danced all evening.
Maeve is so loved and will always be missed by her people: Her pup; brother and sister: Leif and Zara; Grandparents: Gery and Teresa Myhre; Aunt: Lindsay (Myhre) and Uncle: Chris Beaudreau, cousins: Greyson, Sienna, Olive, and Ellis; Adoptive Grandparents: Katie and Shawn McDonald; her extended “family” including: Aunt Claire McDonald, Uncle Kunal Patel, Aunt Kayla and Uncle Eric Groves and cousin Briggs, Aunt Calli and Uncle Cale Schardein and cousin Riley, and numerous other family members and friends.
Keep Hillary and Jordan in your thoughts and prayers as they navigate a new reality that doesn’t include their daughter. They will spend a lifetime missing their precious Maeve. Hillary and Jordan invite anyone who wants to meet and honor Maeve to join them on Sunday, November 17, 2024 at Terrace Park Funeral Home at 801 NW 108th St Kansas City, MO 64155. The visitation will begin at 10 AM followed by a service at 11:30 AM. The family requests those in attendance to wear bright colors.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donations in Maeve’s name to: National Parks Foundation https://give.nationalparks.org https://thetearsfoundation.org/donate/ (need based, covers the cost of infant funerals and headstones, provide emotional support for bereaved families).
Be kind. Hug your people. Tell them you love them.
